Kimberly Burke serves as Coordinator for the Center’s Community Outreach and Translation Core. She holds a B.S. in nutritional sciences and an M.P.H. with a concentration in environmental health, both from Boston University. Following her graduation, she worked for two years as a nutritionist in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Boston, MA.
Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Burke worked as an environmental analyst at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health where she conducted health consultations for toxic waste sites and performed cancer cluster investigations.
Additionally, she has experience volunteering as a health educator in the Boston Public Schools with Peer Health Exchange. She also taught three nutrition courses through Cooking Matters, an organization that helps families learn to cook healthy meals on a budget.
